Hey guys- Loved the show especially anything Dom said! Thanks for being such great sports and podcasting peers. I definitely recommend starting a “beef” with another show so you can have ratings wars…pick on the 619ers, they’re good people (and fresh meat). Liked your comments about functionally illiterate young people. Most of the young people I work with can’t manage to write a decent sentence. Mostly it’s a brain dump without regard to sentence and paragraph structure and grammar.
If you think this is scary – read “Deer Hunting with Jesus” by Joe Bageant about the USA’s millions of poor white trailer trash who are not only functionally illiterate but are sucked in by religious fundamentalism. That’s something to worry about!

It’s good to put voices and faces together with the names that David V. has been talking about during his visit to Sydney…and to have many good belly laughs at your instigation! You’ve got open invitations to Chicago…and if all the carousing here becomes too much for you, we can always do a day-trip up the road to Dr. Kellogg’s Battle Creek! *GRIN*
