Hey guys:
I wanted to congratulate you on your 5th anniversary with the podcast. I am a long time listener from Minnesota and I simply adore your podcast. I look forward to every new podcast that comes out with anticipation. I also wanted to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a most wonderful new year to come. I hope you are all doing well and that you’re having a fabulous holiday season, keep up the great work with the podcasts and I will be listening. Hope one day to visit Australia and could always use some woofy tour guides….catch you all later…

What a wonderful podcast. Yes, you tackled some more serious subjects – coming out, diabetes issues – but I for one am glad you did. John K and Ron’s stories were touching as it serves to remind that coming out can be very different for different people, but then sometimes we hear stories from disparate parts of the planet and often find complete similarities. Thanks for having a discussion concerning coming out.
Also, Dominic, please take care of yourself! Trust me on this – you do not want to wind up like me with a diabetes diagnosis and taking the common medications that accompany a diabetes diagnosis. I am fortunate that even at near 50 I have been able to make changes that are leading to my dream of getting off all medications entirely. I would love to have you guys talk about more medical issues for bears at some point. I am sure other listeners would agree.
By the way, thanks for the shout out!

Thank you Ron and especially JK for your stories, and all for the discussion following.
And thanks too for the diabetes talk. As a recently diagnosed diabetic, it was hopefully helpful and interesting for many (in addition to myself). While it’s really not the debilitating issue some fear, it does involve some life changes that are at minimum inconvenient.
And thanks too for the song. YAY.
Hope to hear you soon.
