Bears In The City

Hey everyone – Seumas here, with an update on how things are going on – we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs in the last month and it’s been challenging to get together to do a podcast. My back has been injured at work and is needing time to recuperate, and others are having other health issues. I also have my specialist exams as well very shortly, and since I’m the main organiser for the group, I haven’t been able to focus on getting us all together like I usually can.

We’ve just had Mardi Gras in Sydney (I know Clinton had a blast there!), so that’s added to the time pressures.

We’re not gone, and we’re talking about the next podcast. Podcast #69 is still going ahead, but we have a few things in our lives to deal with until we can get to it. We really do thank you for your support, and we will be back, though, never fear!

In the meantime, don’t forget to friend us on Facebook, and we have a Twitter account coming soon – more details to come!

And thanks to Jason from Friday Night Furlosophy for the shoutout and wishes with regard my back.

Thanks to everyone for your support – you don’t know how much it means to us. We really do appreciate that you miss us, and we’re looking forward to being back on board.

*HUGS*
Seumas.

Coming soon!

August 25th, 2009

Hey everyone!

It’s been a little while since our last podcast, and unfortunately it will likely be another two weeks before we can get together and record another one, as many of us have urgent things we need to attend to.

We will be back very soon. We can’t thank you enough for listening!

Thank you bTalk!

August 5th, 2009

With bTalk ending after 4 years and 200 episodes, bTalk is calling it a day. You really should check out their final episode.

We got together after the last podcast and recorded these “thank you” videos (which Dominic edited) – enjoy them or be nasty – do your best or worst – but make sure you comment either here or on Youtube!

The version with John and Dom starring, and Seumas looks wooden! Clinton, however, is fantastic.

John and Craige starring, and Seumas looking even more wooden!

Go and listen to their final episode (and all their past episodes) at http://www.btalkworld.com.

To Shannon, Kurt, Jason and Joel (and to Jeff), and all the past guests on bTalk – thank you so much guys. We really do love what you’ve done!

Notes for Podcast #41

September 21st, 2008

As discussed in Podcast #41:

The Kransky Sisters cover “Pop Musik”

This is what a Weta looks like:
The Weta, sort of like a locust

What was your first album?

September 8th, 2008

So, true confession time – you’ve heard our first albums on Podcast #40, what was the first album YOU purchased with your own money?

I thought the first one was cool. Not sure about this one. Christmas songs grate on me.

Did you know that Craige and John used to do this in Newcastle at the G as well?
